Petition for Punishment
The most important thing in prosecuting a crime is to have evidence of the crime. The defendant possesses a modified pistol that can fire bullets without permission, which is controlled by Article 4 of the "Firearms, Ammunition and Knife Control Ordinance" in Taiwan's criminal statutes. Any person who simply possesses a firearm within this scope without a license shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not less than three years but not more than ten years, and shall be fined not more than NT$7 million. For example, if the police found a gun in the motorcycle that the suspect was riding, this alone would be enough to allow the suspect to eat free meals in prison for several years.
